Hi, I’m Mounika.

If you’ve come here to read about me after a sentence caught your eye, then welcome.

What can I say? I am a curious person—and I suppose you are too.

I write because some thoughts refuse to stay quiet.

I grew up believing that ordinary moments were just ordinary. Moving countries, working in healthcare, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning to start over taught me otherwise. The conversations we forget, the emotions we hide, and the things we never say out loud are often the stories that stay with me the longest.

Here you’ll find reflections on emotions, identity, culture, relationships, music, migration, and the strange experience of becoming someone new while still carrying pieces of who you once were.

I don’t write to give answers. I write to ask questions, notice patterns, and make sense of the world one thought at a time.

If something here makes you pause, think, disagree, remember, or feel a little less alone, then these words have done their job.
